Straight - Although straight staircases are the most common type, they are also one of the most versatile designs with an almost limitless amount of options available in terms of material, finish and style. We always aim to make every staircase exclusive to a particular home and our design team will help you come up with something both stylish and functional.
Kite Wind - This design is perfect for homes where space is at a premium as the turn minimises the room needed for the staircases. A kite winder usually comprises of a mixture of straight treads and winder treads which fit around virtually any arc.
Open tread staircases - One of our more popular designs, the open tread staircase is built without risers which leaves a large gap (no bigger than 100mm) between each stair. This is fantastic for modern, open plan living spaces as it allows more light through and barely any hint of fixtures or fittings are evident once completed.
Cut string - A truly grandiose style that oozes character, cut string staircases are a timeless classic that can fit into any home. Unlike regular staircases, the newel strings are cut to follow the treads and risers, which often results in a continuous handrail and a truly unique look suitable for both contemporary and traditional homes alike.
Curtail staircases - Also known as a bullnose step, the curtail refers to the rounded corners of the bottom step on a staircase. This not only adds decoration, but can also be used to support newels as well as a volute handrail for a more dramatic look.
